Invitations are the front door to your workspace. Clear roles and timely follow-up prevent “I never got access” threads during launches. Treat pending invites like inventory—review them weekly until cleared.

Send invites

From Settings → Members, enter email addresses and pick a default role. Invites expire after fourteen days unless resent.

Bulk import

If your product supports CSV import, validate columns against HR data first—typos in email addresses generate unnecessary support tickets.

Messaging

Tell people to expect an invite from a specific sender name so corporate filters do not hide it. Link to your internal wiki for “why we adopted this tool.”

Roles at invite time

You can assign Member, Admin, or custom roles if your plan supports them. You can change roles after someone joins.

Principle of least privilege

Default to Member unless someone truly needs billing or security settings. Elevate admins in pairs so coverage exists during PTO.

Revoking invites

Pending invites can be revoked individually. Revocation does not notify the recipient beyond the link no longer working.

Audit trail

Keep a note if you revoke because someone left the company—helps during access reviews and prevents accidental re-invite from stale spreadsheets.
