Export your data

Request exports, formats, and retention notes for your data.

Exports let you back up, migrate, or satisfy access requests. Plan format and scope before you click—large workspaces can queue for a while and may need multiple partial exports.

Self-serve export

Admins can export project bundles in standard formats from Settings → Data.

Format choices

Pick structured formats your downstream tools ingest—JSON for pipelines, PDF for human review.

Timing

Large exports queue asynchronously; you receive email when ready.

Partial failures

If an export completes with warnings, read the manifest for skipped objects—permissions or corrupt attachments are common causes.

Scope

Exports include content you have permission to read—respect confidentiality when sharing files.

Legal holds

Consult counsel before exporting if litigation holds apply—some systems block export or require approval.
